Saturday Night Live...Harumphhhhh

G-Dog here just chillin waitin for the big game tomorrow. I hope the Eagles win! Go Birds!!! So guess what? The big chill came today...I was tossed into the bath and Biggie did the washin. Man was I dirty--did ya know I am actually white all under? Me either!!!

Just got home from the Dog-Anon meeting. Lots of oldies there tonight, Tommy the Terrier, Jessie the Jack Russel, Pete the Poodle (man, I would have issues with that haircut too), Billy the Bully and Serita the Schnauzer (she's Indian-German). Well cookies and coffee abound, but I was waiting for the piggies...what happened to them piggies man? In the ole days used to get them pig ears and chomp, chomp, chomp. Guess times are tough for the members. I shared, ya know, about the bath thing, the stinky bed thing and of course---The Alpha Man.

Yikes, Ms. Zeta just walked in...she was sittin out listenin to Gayle on the radio. Wish Gayle would just call here and be done with it. Gayle has a gay deaf dog---hmmm, bet I see him at Dog-Anon meetings! So this was quick cuz here she comes...email me fans, check ya and Fly Eagles Fly. G-Dog on the snooze cruz...out.

Friday Night is Alright! Frog Dog Here....

Peace on Earth...well, at least in San Diego!!!

Hello Fans and Followers...it is Friday Night and I am feelin alright! Ms Zeta just came in and she's staring at me. That look is in her eye, I do believe the bath is coming tomorrow. Just when I was getting used to that mud/snow/twig/lamb smell. I'm so stinky that I lick my legs like they are chicken bones...that's what they smell like and not too bad on the taste buds.

Biggie is playin that Warcrest Warchest SWarthog...whatever that game is-he's talking to his computer (talk about looney). Alpha Dog is watching golf; now I gotta ask ya what is there to watch in golf? Guys stand around look at the sun, walkin in those funky pants pulling blades of grass and wagglin their butts. I do that everyday when I hit the yardlet to go...

Bacon...bacon..bacon...I heard about some crazy recipe going on the net. Have you heard? Some type of bacon candy bar or bacon, sauce and sausage YUMBO...now that is for wagglin. Surprised my girl el sammy herself the Raeche hasn't made it. OUH OHHHHHH....grrrrrrr, was that? Phew, just Theta dog comin in from the cold--darn near took a nip outta him. He's lucky I had my Dog-Anon meeting tonite to deal with all my anger issues.

Where oh where has Gerry Been?

Geronimo here, phew...Ms Zeta took off on a business trip, took the laptop and I have been laying around doing nothing!

So here I am back on track. What's up cuzns? I heard a rumor from Biggie that "el tubo" would be filled with water tomorrow and my carcass would be swimming. NEWSFLASH--I don't think so (under the bed-too bit; in the closet-no opposable thumbs; in the car--too cold; in the basement--nah Alpha will look there...cripes nowhere to hide)

If you have an idea please email before the night is over or, gulp, it is gurgle time and man-o-man I don't do well in "el tubo". Now that I shared my fears I feel much better. Hey, this might be better than Dog-Anon??? Only if you are there for me...cuz we all know what happens when we isolate...

So Ms Zeta went out of town but before that someone smashed our Oprah Car! Ms wasn't hurt but she checked out the ortho just in case. No Gayle King for a whole week. AAAAAAAH, the car is back tonite and I heard that crazy Gayle chattin away about her muzique...love that Gayle.

Alpha is hittin the treads...too cold to go outside (least thats what my walkin partner, Ms I'll walk in any weather Zeta--don't t h i n k so :) Biggie is writing music and strummin the guitar. He bailed to, NYC, Harlem no less, for the weekend--what's a broxer gotta do for a ride man?

Theta Dog--he got a job. He rolls out before the first morning duty! Its like 5:00 am man...cold and early. But he gets home in time to play a little before the hay. Anyway cuzns, just so you know besides the bath rumor...heard Alpha and Zeta talkin...okay, okay, I wuz eavesroppin??? well, you know I was bein nosy...I may lose the Blue Buffalo, my beloved organic food, and go to GULP, grocery store brand. This financial crisis has gone too far now.

What Happened to My Eagles???

The Frog Dog Here...what happened? I was outside playing tag football with Ms. Zeta (we have a green Eagle ball) and the guys were hangin' in. I ran over to CVS for my V-Day Cards and it is aviary mayhem...the little red cardinals are pecking away at the eagles clipping those talon feathers with every pitch of the ball. Well, time for the birds to fly to their winter nests and sleep away the loss. I still believe!

Alpha Dog got a disk with old pictures on it...Ms. Zeta is posting some on her site so go check'em out if you have the address. No way guys, can't give it out here cuz Ms. Zeta is nice and all but if I clog her in-box we are liable to have the men in white pull-up with a wagon. More on that later...

Yeah, it was a balmy 30 degrees yesterday which is why I played tag football--alright! It was more like jump and bump football and Ms. Zeta had mud all over her black pants but it was fun until I was distracted by the diet coke can. Had some sweet potato pie mmmmmmmmmm: BURP.

Wanted to check in with the cuzns and let those B-kids know we still believe and hey, we beat the Cowboys TWICE! Sorry Uncle Velle. Why don't they have a team called "The Frog Dogs"? G-chillaxin and out.

Diets, Snow and Alpha Dog

Where have I been? Huh, Ms. Zeta has me on a weight loss plan now that she discovered Theta Dog was feeding me double my daily dose--hey, who was I hurtin anyway? So my newest trick is to howl and cry whenever anyone in the house is eating. Usually works on Biggie Dog and Ms. Zeta--please, that girl needs Dog-Anon, he he he he.

I checked myself out in the patio glass door (which I almost smacked into tonight when Ms. Zeta came yelling, "cookie". Biggie cleaned the glass and whoops, who knew?) and I am looking slimmer and trimmer and quite handsome. Pictures later ladies, hold your horses!!

So, the snow. Not sure yet, just not sure. I think I like it but it freaks me out a little. I mean definitely worth a taste or two when I go out and the whole rolling around with the ball thingy is cool but jiminy crickets if the feet don't freeze and ache and then I trip up the stairs. No pictures of that now.

Alpha Dog. Hmmmm, he showed up really late tonight and I wonder what was up. Ms. Zeta bought him Wendys (not likely on a Thursday) and then he checked out for the ole mattress. Well, I am waiting for Ms. Zeta to finish her homework so we can go chill, ummmm, warm-up in the master bedroom. Yes, ladies, I have my own master suite upstairs--it's metal, with a black floor and soft, fuzzy dark green throw. I see you really want me to break out that camera right? I may have time this weekend.

So Ms. Zeta got a note from Ms. Steph. Finally, one of the cuzns checking me out (the others are just jealous of my fame)--anyway, I heard Ms. Steph and Ms. Zeta are going to a spa or getting their toes tickled or something like that it sure doesn't sound that fun. I'd rather get the old belly rub and a bone but then again, I am a dog, ribbit :)

Ms. Zeta is done, the lights are coming down, the snow has stopped and Alpha Dog is snoring. Its a sign from God Dog--nap time. Drop me a note other cuzns, I know you are watching! Til we bark again fans. G-frog out.

Where have I been? Spelunking around…not really spelunking as that requires rope and harnesses and such and Alpha Dog won’t allow it. We do have a nice, big murky pond in the back that would be perfect…then again, Alpha would most likely be the one fishing me out of that pond full of slimy, green goose poo and micro-worms…but I digress.

So caught a little flu bug and baptized the new Moroccan silk rug fresh in from the port. I also made a mess in the family room. I am usually one big guilt blob when I do that, but since joining Dog-Anon I know that barf happens, man! Let it go…oops, I did. J

Check out the photos…does it appear that I am looking younger? I loped into the bathroom and saw my reflection; well, being a dog I wasn’t sure what I was looking at but it sure did look like a fun puppy. So, being a dog I did what dogs do and lurched to nip and lick the puppy. Ms. Zeta was none to happy, snot and spit on the newly cleaned mirrors—hey, not my fault they put a puppy in the mirror. I wonder how much he is????

Ms. Zeta read F. Scott Fitzgerald’s short story, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I don’t know she vexed me with the reversey malokya and here I am full of vim and vigor. No worries though, my regression can be stopped with a little “contra malokya”. Wha? I am practicing my Italian here…I watch the tv. Oh, yeah to undo the curse, uh, I need all my fans and readers to send Blue Buffalo Bone Treats to the following address…5 Ma….whoa! Biggie came by and caught me. (Email me, will ya?).

We had a snowstorm, storm of the century…no, of the month…of the day…well, look, it wasn’t really a storm. Ms. Zeta had a little freak-out at how people start nesting, buying up all the eggs, milk, and bread. My two cents? French toast sounds good and I’ll own up to the hype if it nets me some food. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow (I am in the Bowl Choir you know)—baritone.

Well I am back to standard from the flu and must go to the Church-By-The-Bowl today. I need a chat with God Dog. Perhaps He can straighten out this sudden change in my appearance. I am chatty today since I haven’t barked with you all for four days—that is a record for my loquacious flappers. Lest you think I am a Snob Dog, I’m not. Its just that my cuzns check me out and I need to set a positive example by using big words so they’ll do well in school, go to college, become rich and adopt me (or at least find me a growlfriend).

Gerry Frog Dog has been a little under the weather...he'll resume blogging tomorrow and tell you all about it (he didn't take pictures thanks God Dog). In the meantime...here is another picture for ya

Tuesday Sleet, Rain, Pretzels...

MMOB and what happens? The G just slides down the sleeting stairway to heaven? No, to the concrete landing and UMPH! But I held onto the plastic coca-cola bottle I was playing with no 'butter lips' here!

So Ms. Zeta went to chat with Madam Dona, the life advisor. She was so happy when she came home--look I got a nice sourdough pretzel! Yahoo for Madam D!!!

What else happened? Well, Dog-Anon was okay although there were some yappers and flappers tonite and a few low-talkers couldn't understand a grumbling growl they shared. BARK-UP DOGGIES! We may be co-dependent but we can still bark (it works on a lot of the humans anyway).

Biggie let me sleep in the bed this afternoon; no one wanted to play "too cold"--geesh, lightweights. Well, I got my squeeky-ball and a new pepsi can to raise a rukus. I'll let you know if Alpha Dog barks at me tonite.

I'ma little jumpy these days "skittish" is what Ms. Zeta calls me. Not sure what's going on but plastic bags, sudden movements and noises are just freaking me out...I may need to see if Dr. Cerebrum takes canines...

Don't tell Alpha Dog, but Ms. Zeta is still looking for a bride for me--I hear she is narrowing in on one of those German models. That'll be cool since my peeps came from Germany. Can't speak a word but Theta is teaching me spanish so I can relate to Big Daddy Dog and Purrrrry.

Sunday Beautiful Cornflower Blue and Deers

Ahhh, woke-up to a sunny day in the Garden State. Went out to play with my fave-friend, the empty plastic Coke bottle. What with wind and neighbors G gets plenty of freebies blowin' to the back. Check out the deer, chased 'em down the other nite and nearly gave Ms. Zeta the big coronary...that dame got lungs :)

Ms Zeta made all those egg rolls last night and, BURP, they gone.

Alpha Dog ran to the park with his hoodie on and gloves, yeah he had the muscle-squisher pants on too--came back pantin', sweatin', snortin'. Theta is up (even though I spied him reading in the cribster past 2 am) playing with the Warcrafters 'what is the big deal, man?'. Biggie is still sawin' but fo sho I can count on crumbs from him (lickety, lick...).

Tomorrow goes back to normal for most which means sleep, eat, pee, do-the-doo, stare out window, beg, sleep, pray to God Dog and then Dog-Anon.

Auntie Philly and Auntie Maryland been keepin' busy with Bible study and cuzns back to school. Something about the tongue in the Bible; like the rudder in a ship? Never been in a ship, okay, okay, I did "do the boat" with Alpha; tried to act cool but all four knees were knockin' and tummy rockin' I am an Earth-dog all the way.

The only thing I do with my tongue? Lick whatever comes my way...mostly good, some undetectable and sometimes (spinach, lettuce, tomotoes) yukky. But I don't lie-OKAY, not on purpose but I always rat it out and Ms. Zeta forgives me along with God Dog. TRY IT...

I feel a snore comin on...check you all tomorrow. G-out

Saturday Nite Fever...

Layin around just chillin...Zeta and Biggie are watching Armaggedon for the twenty-seventh time. We love Bruce in this household--he is the acting-man! Speaking of which, man bummed out for the Travolta's losing a son. Makes Ms. Zeta remember Big Daddy and Ms Chi-JoAn herself losing Big Brad 26 years ago.

So sad...prayers to God Dog; glad I went to Church-by-the-Bowl tonite and meditated. St Francis said it best "make me a channel of thy peace". Sometimes you just gotta weep when the peoples weep. So message lite tonite and kiss them two and four-leggeds, extra hugs all around. Grandma's Hands Gotcha...she's at heaven's door prayin' for ya.
